Record Store Day 2014

Hey Everybody!
We are very excited to announce a return engagement at Fitzgerald's Side Bar on Saturday, April 19
to celebrate all things vinyl and Record Store Day 2014.  It's true, the resurgent interest in vinyl--the original format to listen to music--has impacted the music industry with more and more labels offering their artists, and the public, the vinyl alternative.  Come hear the difference!  We are spinning rock, jazz, soul, funk, classic oldies, new wave and more from 7:30 to close.  Also appearing are the great pop jazz soul duo Ligon & Mcdonough, who will be appearing in the front party room.
So, come on out and bring your dancing shoes!!

THIS THURSDAY, April 3, Hoffman Estates Audi, 1200 W. Golf Rd. 5-8 pm
DJBC and the Hi-Life Sound System are appearing with  Uber talented Nick Kitsos and Crystal Jadszak to celebrate the release of the new Audi A3.  We will be spinning an electronica based set, with choice musical gems reflecting all things speed!  Nick and Crystal will pumping slow burn grooves with trip hoppy vocals.

Recent:  Gig #23: Linda Burns Birthday Party!
What a gas! The HLSS set up in the front living room, flipped off the lights, and transformed the area with our new "one bulb" led light show, and the party danced into the wee hours!  Thanks to Cindy Risch and the entire Burns crowd for making us feel so welcome :)
